We book appointments by selecting time slots based on our availability & schedule. This has happened to me twice now, the appointment was preponed without even checking with me first and in the most recent case, it was changed just 1 hour before the appointment.
People plan their day according to the confirmed appointment slot, and such last-minute changes can make it difficult to arrive on time. It also creates unnecessary stress with repeated calls & reconfirmation despite booking in advance
