I have been to spas in every city I have visited in the world, and this was by far the most disappointing.
First, I informed ahead of my appointment that I had to strictly have a female therapist. Despite this when I arrived, there was a male therapist assigned to me and the female had to rearrange the schedule to treat me. The entire treatment felt rushed, and done to get the job done, not with care. She barely dealt with the stress points that I told her were my concern, and at most times, especially during the " facial" it felt like she was merely rubbing her hands over my face rather than massaging. She offered a lot of advice which I didn't ask for, and none of the treatment I actually booked for.
Secondly, I booked for a Signature Treatment- the therapist, without consulting me and despite me asking more than once, gave me an alternative treatment which did not include the key treatments I had booked the Signature for. When I raised this at the reception, the response was cold and nonchalant as if. They offered me a menial discount which could not compensate me for the terrible experience. I left feeling no more relaxed than when I arrived and certain that this spa does not hold the capacity to call itself luxury. I will certainly not be revisiting.

Alles inorde en verzorgd. Aan de telefoon vertelden ze mij dat ze op onze kamer een attentie zouden zetten voor mijn vriend zijn verjaardag. Is niet gebeurd…

We verbleven van vrijdag 27/06 op zaterdag 28/06 in jullie hotel. De hotelkamer, het avondeten en het restaurant waren prima (afzonderlijke goede review achtergelaten). Vrijdag hadden we een duo-massage met aansluitend uurtje wellness geboekt. Ook de duo-massage was uitstekend. De douche in de wellness stonk echter verschrikkelijk naar de sceptische put en de geur verspreide zich deels door de rest van de wellness. Verder vonden we het spijtig dat er geen binnenzwembad/jacuzzi was. We waren beiden naakt na de massage (op vraag van de masseuses) en het buitenzwembad keek uit op verschillende hotelkamers. We betreuren deze ervaring en zouden de wellness niet opnieuw boeken of aanraden. We hebben dit direct gemeld aan de receptie, maar we hebben niet de indruk dat onze feedback ter harte werd genomen.

We had been gifted a voucher for a Blisfull experience. Traffic was terrible the evening of our appointment, so we notified that we would arrived late. That was no issue.
Upon arrival, we were swiftly taken to the dressing room, changed, and went straight into the peeling session. After a short explanation (not always easy to understand) by a one of the therapists, the skin treatment started. Just the right amount of firmness and pressure, on the limit between enjoyable and fainful.
Showertime, and then we were expected for a soothing oil massage. All the stress of the day was gently massages away, and here and there a stressknot was taken care of. The massage lasted for about an hour. We were told to slowly let the massage sink in before going back to the dressing room, take a shower and get dressed.
When we came back after that, nobody was there anymore, so we lade our way back to the reception, and decided to have a drink at the bar, and maybe have something to eat. As we were looking through the menu, the lady from reception came to us to tell us that we actually still had access to the wellness for 2 hours, with sauna, steambath, outdoor swimming pool, … we were a bit confused. We initially indeed thaught that this was part of the Blissful package, but we were not sure, and since it hadn’t been mentioned… anyway, we went to the wellness center, got a quick explanation, and that we could dial 200 to order from the menu that was by the phone. We were a bit lost now… the atmosphere was a bit broken… but we decided to make the best of it, order from the menu, and just relax. We dialed 200, ordered drinks and food, only to hear that no food was allowed in the wellness space. 2 minutes later they called back to inform us that one of the 2 drinks was not available.
At the end we decided to leave it at that.
The scrub and massage were wonderful, the aftercare was a bit disorganised. So at the end of the day the total experience was good, but not exceptional.
