I booked a manicure, but at the salon "upgraded" to semi-permanent. I asked several times whether "vernis semi-permanent" is Shellac because I did NOT want a gel manicure. The manicure looked good overall & lasted several weeks, but when I went to have it removed at another salon, it turned out this was Gel after all and had to be filed down to remove. It damaged my nails pretty badly - which is why I specifically did not want gel. Overall decent place and manicure, just a disappointing ending.
