I want to share my concerns about the manicure I received today. The result is wearable, but several moments during the appointment were worrying. Three of my fingers were cut, and nobody apologized or even mentioned it. For me, this is the main issue — when a client is injured, it is normal to say “sorry” or offer a small discount.
At the start, I also got scared because the removal burned extremely strongly on my little finger and later on my big finger. I’ve never felt such heat during removal, and it made me afraid something could happen to my nail plate.
There were also quality problems: one nail is uneven on the side, another was not filed properly, and some product leaked into the cuticle. I booked the appointment with the owner, but another technician did the service without asking if this was okay. I also wasn’t told that the gel color contained glitter — I only saw it once it was already cured.
The payment process was also inconvenient, since card payments weren’t accepted and only a bank transfer was possible.
But for the price I paid, the service didn’t feel fair, especially considering the cuts and the discomfort.

Ik heb een maand geleden een lash lift laten doen en ben erg tevreden met de resultaten. Helaas sprak ze geen Nederlands dus was er een beetje een onhandig sfeertje. Voor de rest was het wel vrij aangenaam. Ik kreeg een theetje bij mijn aankomst en de prijs was normaal.
